Before becoming a dietitian I worked in hospitality for many years, mainly in the kitchen environment. I've always had a passion for food, cooking, and science.
I then returned to education to pursue my goal of becoming a dietitian, where I earned a BSc (Hons) in Human Nutrition and Dietetics from Cardiff University. Since then, I've gained extensive experience working in acute hospital settings. I am proud to be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and the British Dietetic Association (BDA).
Health, fitness, and performance have always been a central part of my life. I regularly train at the gym, participate in triathlon events, and have spent years training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (currently a purple belt). My love for sport and nutrition drives my commitment to help both individuals and athletes. For those competing in combat sports, my aim is to optimise their performance while achieving their weight goals safely and effectively.
When working with clients, I take pride in combining my evidence-based expertise with a person-centred approach. Professionalism, kindness, and empathy are at the core of everything I do, ensuring you feel supported to meet your nutritional needs.
I'm currently working in Morriston Hospital as an acute specialist dietitian focusing on pancreatic disorders and surgeries, as well as renal care.
